Alexander Wilcox Cheek is a 2005 graduate of RIT’s Graphic Design undergraduate program. Alex has a Master
of Design Degree from Carnegie Mellon University where he is Assistant Professor in the Practice of Design.
He has taught students in Information Systems, HCI, Architecture, and more. From 2009–2013 Alex taught at
Carnegie Mellon’s campus in Doha, Qatar. Alex is currently living in Cambridge, MA working on the
commercialization of a research project called Macromicro.
Alex is engaging, thought-provoking and is focused on the future of graphic design in the digital age.
