AIGA Student Chapter Speaker
Good F**king Design Advice
Monday, May 4 at 4:00pm
The website Good F**king Design Advice (we’ll just call them GFDA for short) has been around since 2010 and is well-known in design circles for their truth-speaking, expletive-laden aphorisms. Humorous, intentionally irreverent, and always to-the-point, GFDA offers wisdom coupled with snark—an irresistible hook for most designers, particularly those in their college years.
And so the AIGA student chapter decided to invite the brains behind GFDA to give a lecture via videoconference this Monday, May 4th at 4pm. It will be screened in Booth 3310.
But you will not see any posters around campus for this event—even though they have been hung…twice. They have also been removed…twice. The AIGA student chapter was censored, with powers-that-be citing this weekend’s campus-wide Imagine RIT festival as rationale.
They can order the posters to be removed, but they can’t stop you from attending the talk!
We hope to see you there.
